A Cozy Fireplace has been in business for over 8 years. It is run by Greg Hopkins and Ken Love. They have been friends since High School. They have both been working in the Fireplace Industry for over 18 years. The first store was opened by Greg in 1995. He bought an established store that has since been moved to Oak Lawn. Ken came aboard the following year as an employee. That worked for one season. Then it was time to expand. The Naperville store was the result, and Ken was made a full partner. 2 years later the Orland Park store was opened and Greg's wife Suzette came aboard to run that Store. In 2001 the Crest Hill store was opened and Steve Daley came on board as the new owner of the Oak Lawn store. 

There is no big secret to the success of A Cozy Fireplace. It is summed up best by a saying we have hanging on a plaque in each store: 

"KNOWLEDGE , PROFESSIONALISM, QUALITY AND SERVICE ARE THE CORNERSTONES TO YOUR SATISFACTION AND OUR SUCCESS".

Experience gained while working for others in the industry as well as a lot of hard work has been the winning formula. It's still not unusual to get Ken, Steve, or Greg  out to your house for whatever  it takes to make sure the customer is taken care of.

We were one of the first dealers on the Internet. We saw the need for better communications with our customers. We realized that some of our customers needed to see our products and have questions answered at times other than normal business hours. That is why we have this web site.

We are not trying to sell fireplaces here. We have them on here for reference in case our customers need to look something up when we're closed. If you are in the market for a fireplace you should buy one from your closest authorized dealer. That way they will be there for you when you need help.

We will not forget what got us to this point. We still believe that Service is the most important part of our business. We will not let that change with the business that we conduct ON LINE.
